The Franklin Bulls have signed their third Tall Blacks representative for the 2024 season with former Otago Nuggets big man Sam Timmins inking a deal.

Timmins played with the Bulls during their COVID-interrupted debut season while playing in a bubble but has since go on to star for the Nuggets as they won the 2022 title.

He has previously played with the New Zealand Breakers but has spent the current Australian NBL season with the Sydney Kings.

“Sam came to us a rookie and has produced some incredible performances since he joined the league,” said Bulls co-founder Jamie Reddish.

“We are excited to have Sam back in the white, yellow and black to represent South Auckland, Franklin the North Waikato again.

“We know our fans will be stoked.”

He joins an impressive trio of Tall Blacks in Pukekohe next season alongside Isaac Davidson and Ethan Rusbatch.
