Some basic things you need to know
• Story ideas need to be a news story that is recent and topical with a clear news angle.
• They need to be relevant to the Counties Manukau region.
• When submitting information, include the basic details – who, what, when, where and any other relevant information.
• We need to use full names and they need to be spelt correctly – so please make sure these are correct.
• Every story we publish needs to have a photo accompany it so we would encourage you to include a photo.
• Photos should be as hi res as possible and where possible be landscape layout as opposed to portrait.
• All photos need to have the approval of the sport’s governing body and/or the people in them. They also must be rights free or have express permission to be used if they are professional. Any doubt, please let us know.
