Kiwi boxer Jospeh Parker has recorded a stunning unanimous decision win against Deontay Wilder in their heavyweight boxing bout in Saudi Arabia.

The official scores were 118-111, 118-110 and a 120-108 shutout.

“I’m back,” Parker said. “We were focused and had momentum. Everyone had plans, other plans, but this was God’s plan.

“This is massive, this is the toughest opponent I’ve faced.”

“Practice, practice, practice, work, work, work,” he said of what allowed him to stun Wilder and record arguably the best win of his career.

“Listen, I had to be away at all times. He did catch me a few times on the guard, and I’ll tell you this, it’s a very hard right hand, so if it landed clean would’ve been different, but today’s my day.

“This is massive. This is the toughest opponent I’ve faced. Biggest right hand and what can I say?”
