Southern Counties’ home ground of Massey Park in Waiuku and Karaka Sports Complex have been chosen as the best cricket venues in the region in a Counties Sports Hub players poll.
The two clubs came out on top of a poll that saw multiple players from five of the six premier clubs (Manukau City opted not to partake) make their choices on a range of topics.
The two venues each collected 27% of the votes to beat out the likes of Mountfort Park, Bruce Pulman Park and Bledisloe Park – all who received nominations from the group.
The best venue was probably the closest poll in all of the 12 different categories posed by Counties Sports Hub.
