A 71st minute strike from the penalty spot by Joseph Budd has handed Manurewa AFC a 1-0 win over Bay Olympic FC in the Northern League.

The win propels the newly promoted side to second on the competition table.

A double to Argyle Morling and a goal to Kartik Kumar has helped Papakura City to a 3-1 win over fellow Counties Manukau outfit Papatoetoe AFC in Men’s League One play.

Shalvin Prasad scored the goal for the home side.

South Auckland Rangers rode goals from Ronald Kivolyn, Ivan Kumar, Calvin Opperman, Conan Reddy and Jeshal Kumar to a 5-2 win over Ranui Swanson.

They move up to second on the table with Papakura City fourth and Papatoetoe AFC fifth.

Despite scoring three goals Pukekohe AFC have fallen 4-3 to North Shore United in NRF Community Division 4 action.

In Division 5, Waiuku AFC has pumped Onehunga Mangere United 7-0, Drury United edged Tuakau SC Wanderers 4-3 while Clendon United fell 3-0 to Oratia United.
