Manurewa AFC recorded a 4-0 thrashing of the table-topping Waiheke United in LOTTO Division 1 football action on Saturday.

It snaps a disappointing run for Manurewa, who went across to Onetangi and collected their best win of the season.

They lie fifth in a congested table, just four points off top spot.

Manukau United played out a 0-0 draw against Eastern Suburbs in Northern League action. It continues their recent run of scoring points.

In LOTTO Division 2 play three of the four local sides enjoyed wins.

Franklin United beat Oratia United 3-1 at Drury to climb to within a win of second place on the table – but fifth in a bottle neck at the top.

Beachlands Maraetai had a 2-0 win at Fencibles that sees the visitors move up to third and just a point behind Fencibles.

Onehunga Mangere United continue to top the table after they beat Greenhithe Catimba 4-1.

Papatoetoe AFC fell to Cambridge FC 1-0 in the Waikato.

Papakura City picked up a 2-0 win over Puhoi SC in NRF Championship play. Elsewhere South Auckland Rangers also got a 2-0 win at home to Te Atatu.

Pukekohe AFC enjoyed a 2-0 win over Northern Rovers to move up to eighth on the NRF Community Division 1 table.

Drury United beat Hibiscus Coast 2-1 in Division 3 action while Waiuku AFC were thumped 4-0 by Ellerslie in Waiuku.

Papakura City got the better of Manukau United in a battle between two local sides in the NRF Women’s Championship.

Onehunga Sports continued their run of form with 4-1 win over Central United.
