Papakura Athletic and Harrier Club will hold its annual Ron Keat Day on Saturday November 7 at Massey Park.
The day will see kids under the age of 14 taking part in various athletics events in free event and will feature a bouncy castle as well as other entertainment.
Track events up to 1500m along with high jump, long jump, shot put and discus will all be run on the day.
Ron Keat was a legendary Kiwi athlete that represented New Zealand and was the driving force behind the club from 1950 until he passed away in the mid-1980s.
