Counties Manukau Cricket have named their 12-strong squad for the first Brian Dunning one-day representative game against Waikato Valley in Morrinsville on Sunday.

Southern Counties new ball bowler Andrew Goodare gets another chance to shine while impressive Manukau City opening batsman Tayden Smit, who is currently playing for Northern Districts U19s, is also included.

Manukau City club teammates Sandeep Patel, Scott Johnston, James Naylor, Le-Shur Vermeulen and Pratik Lawande have been chosen while Pukekohe Metro supplied Aue Parima, Kurt Barnes and Leon Marconi.

Karaka batsmen Luke Williamson and Sam Varcoe were automatic selections.
