Franklin Bulls swingman Isaac Davidson has been confirmed on a fulltime NZ Breakers contract for the upcoming Australian Basketball League season.

The 24-year-old, who has played for the Bulls the past two seasons, spent the last ANBL season as a development player with the only Kiwi franchise in the league.

But the former Rangitoto College star was confirmed on Thursday as the 12th and final squad member for the Dan Shamir’s roster.

Davidson signed a one year deal with the Breakers with a club option for a second season.

“I thought they were going to fine me for being late,” he said. “A fine would’ve been a tenth of my salary, so when they told me what they were offering, my head spun.

“I couldn’t believe they were giving me the opportunity.”

The six foot seven forward played in 11 games for the Breakers last season.
