Counties Tennis Association will run their 2020-21 Senior Championships next week after originally cancelling the tournament due to COVID-19.
They will now take place on Friday December 3 at the Counties Tennis Centre.
A post on the organisation’s Facebook page on Friday night outlined the club’s plan to stage the tournament that had originally been set for last summer before COVID-19 interfered and forced its postponement.
“Next week, on Friday evening we are planning to play Counties Senior Champs 2020-2021 that were postponed last season due to Covid-19,” the post read. “This tournament is for senior players, aged 19 and over, affiliated to Counties Tennis Association.”
The Counties Age Group Championships will follow on December 5 and 12.
