Franklin United have announced their 2021 season award winners via an online video posted to the club’s Facebook page.
Tim Richardson took a clean sweep of the major Men’s 1st team awards – picking up the Player of the Year crown, Player’s Player award and top goal scorer.
Gabby Frank won Player of the Year for the Women’s 1st team. Emily Maguire picked up the Player’s Player award while Sophie Zaadstra was the Most Improved Player. Dilaisana Drodrolagi was the top goal scorer.
Franklin United’s men’s 1st team was in contention to earn promotion up to LOTTO Division 1 for 2022 before the COVID-19 outbreak forced the season to finish prematurely and ended their charge.
