Counties Baseball Club is currently on the look out for some more junior players to join their club ahead of the upcoming Auckland Baseball Association season.

The local club has won two national titles at Premier level through their history but is specifically targeting age-grades this season.

They intend to enter an U16 side – the nucleus of which was the side to beat last summer – as well as U14 and U12 grades but are in need of more players.

Based at Karaka Sports Complex, the junior grades play games on Saturday mornings over the summer months.

Counties Baseball Club is where New Zealand and Chicago White Sox minor league player Jason Matthews played prior to moving to the United States.
