Counties Baseball is searching for a few more players for their 19U side to compete in the Auckland Baseball Association competition this summer.

While there is a group of talented players already signed up, including some New Zealand representatives, the club will need to add some more players to confirm entering a team in the grade.

Counties were unlucky not to win the 19U title last summer – they qualified for the final only for it to be rained out and Orewa to win without playing.

Numbers are good in the Premier, 16U and 13U grades and teams are all set to go, although new players are still welcome.

The club is still planning on running tee ball from 6pm-7.30pm on Friday nights – the cost to play is $50 for the season.
