Counties Baseball finished their Auckland Baseball League season with a disappointing 12-1 loss to the champion North Shore Caballeros.
It was a flat way for the side to end a season in which they competed well.
The side made errors in the field behind talented young starter Matthew Gavin and they failed to fire with the bats.
Catcher Tairea Thompson had a pair of hits while Dylan Stark drove in the side’s only run.
