Franklin United continued their impressive run of form with a convincing 4-1 win over Cambridge FC at Bledisloe Park in Pukekohe on Saturday.

Pedro Hardy Rosas Gallardo scored a double while Lance Kraakman and Ashley Gower-Rudman also found themselves on the score sheet.

The win lifts Franklin United to fifth on the LOTTO Division 2 table.

Onehunga Mangere United remained on top with a 3-1 win over Northland FC – Gilberto Souza collecting a hat-trick.

Beachlands Maraetai edged Papatoetoe AFC 1-0 in the other match involving South Auckland teams, with Ben Culpan getting the winner.

Manukau United picked up another Northern League point after securing a 2-2 draw with Birkenhead United.

Armin Pasagic and Andre Estay picked up the goals.

Manurewa AFC earned a 2-1 over Bucklands Beach in LOTTO Division 1 action. They fell behind early but scored through Dylan Horgan and Kevin Benavente Escudero to grab the points.

Manurewa sits in a share of second place, just a point behind the league leaders.

South Auckland Rangers beat Te Atatu MCL 3-2 in NRF Championship action. Papakura City smashed Puhoi SC 5-0 to stay on top, with Rangers in a share of second, three points behind.

Pukekohe AFC picked up their first win of the NRF Community Division 1 season with a 2-1 win over Fencibles at Bledisloe Park.

The win lifts them off the bottom of the table.

Drury United grabbed a 4-2 win over East Coast Bays in Division 3 action while Waiuku AFC fell 2-1 to competition leaders Western Springs The Young Ones.

Papakura City remain second on the NRF Women’s Championship thanks to a 3-0 win on the road at Birkenhead.

Onehunga Sports thumped fellow South Auckland outfit Manukau United 5-1 to move up to fifth.
