The Northern Stars have recruited Silver Ferns midcourt star Gina Crampton and brought back former Silver Ferns defender Anna Harrison for the 2021 ANZ Premiership season.

Crampton has played her entire career to this point with the Southern Steel but makes the move north next season in a massive coup for the Bruce Pulman Arena-based season.

Harrison, who made her national team debut back in 2002, has come out of retirement once more to play for the Stars after a two-year break from the sport.

Shooter and inaugural Stars player Maia Lewis returns for a fifth season while Monica Faulkner makes her return after a year out injured.

Elle Temu moves north from the champion Central Pulse outfit while Amorangi Malesala joins the franchise after playing netball in Australia.

Silver Ferns Development Squad member Jamie Hume returns along with Mila Reuelu-Buchanan, Lisa Mather and Oceane Maihi.

The Stars finished the season fourth of the six Kiwi sides in 2020.
