Top side Maramarua 1 put their unbeaten start to the 2022 Premier Gold season on the line as they take on Tuakau A at Pukekohe Netball Centre on Saturday.

Jody McCort’s side were the dominant outfit last year but were unable to make their push for the title when COVID interrupted the season in the week leading into finals day.

They’ve made a promising start to 2022 and one of two unbeaten sides through the opening three weeks.

Tuakau A has a win and two losses so far this season and will be out to cause an upset.

Pythons V.S.N, the other unbeaten side, takes on Maramarua 2 while Patumahoe Blue and Tuakau 1 do battle in what should be an intriguing battle between two sides hoping to find their best form.

Unbeaten St Joseph’s Margies take on third-placed Whitestar Phoenix in a Premier Silver match that could have a big impact on the table.

Top-of-the-table Patumahoe Teal takes on Patumahoe White while Fusion Alpha and Patumahoe 1 will fight out for their first wins of the season when they meet Saturday.

In Premier Bronze, TK Rugby Gold will get a big test when they face the unbeaten Te Kohanga Pango.

Fusion Beta plays Maramarua A – the latter is yet to lose this season.

Maramarua 3 and Fusion Warrior will meet in a battle of teams with identical one win, two loss records so far this year.
