The Waiau Pa Pirates will face the Pukekohe Indian Sports Club in the Counties Manukau Hockey Men’s Premier grade final at Counties Manukau Hockey Centre in Pukekohe on Saturday.
The Pukekohe Indians beat Kohekohe in a shoot-out in the semi-finals to advance to the final. Waiau Pa went straight into the decider courtesy of topping pool play.
Meanwhile, in the Women’s Premier grade, the Waiau Pa Pandas face Kohekohe Women’s A side in the final.
Waiau Pa played Alfriston in the semi-finals, winning through to meet Kohekohe, who went straight through as top qualifiers.
The women’s final starts at 3pm with the men’s final following at 4.45pm.
