Counties Manukau Hockey’s men’s and women’s teams have finished seventh at the Tier 2 Ford National Hockey Championships in Hamilton.
The men’s team finished fourth in Pool A and enjoyed a 3-0 win over Canterbury as well as a shoot out wins over Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
They then beat Tasman 3-2 in the battle for seventh and eighth.
The Counties Manukau women had a shoot out win over Northland while finishing pool play third in Pool B.
They lost to Southland 2-1 in a playoff game before beating Northland in a shoot out in the seventh and eighth playoff.
