The Melbourne Vixens have beaten the Northern Stars 71-53 in their pre-season netball match at Auckland Netball Centre on Friday night.
The Australian outfit proved too strong as both teams build up to their respective seasons.
The Vixens play the Northern Mystics on Saturday in a second pre-season outing.
The Stars begin their 2024 ANZ Premiership campaign with an opening round home match against the Pulse at Pulman Arena on Sunday April 14.
