Michael Truter is the 2020-2021 Counties Tennis Senior champion after winning the tournament originally scheduled for last summer but finally played over the weekend.
Truter claimed a straight sets 6-4 6-4 win over Sam Pascoe in the final at Counties Tennis Centre.
Truter won three matches on his way to claiming the title, beating Ryan Crawford 6-2 6-1 in the semi-finals and advancing past Russ Clarke 6-1 6-0 in the quarter-finals.
Earlier, Pascoe beat Chris Hobbs 6-1 5-7 6-4 in a tough semi-final.
In total 13 players took part in the 2020-21 Counties Tennis Senior Championships.
