Cohen Brady-Leathem (Patumahoe)
The youngster burst onto the scene last year to not only play for his club side but to make the Steelers NPC team as well. Used primarily at fullback by Patumahoe, he starred for the Steelers in the number nine jumper and will be one to watch this year.

Adam Brash (Bombay)
Almost the forgotten man of the McNamara Cup, Brash will return from an injury-plagued 2023 to lead Bombay this season. A workhorse type player, with plenty of speed, he shapes as the key performer for his side.

Cam Church (Karaka)
The talented loose forward and NZ Secondary Schools captain will play for Karaka this McNamara Cup season and is tipped to be in the eyes of representative coaches.

Eucharist Lafolafo (Ardmore Marist)
A talented fullback or midfielder that caught the eye of representative selectors last season. He played for Counties Manukau U19s last year and has plenty of grit and can be very explosive. A strong defender as well.

Ascott Mafi (Manurewa)
A highly regarded prop that will play with the reigning champs in 2024. A player that has come from North Harbour and been in the Blues set-up previously, so big things expected.

Frank Mafi (Karaka)
Arrived at Karaka in 2023 but missed most of the season due to injury. He returned late in the campaign in Premier Reserves but is set to be a key contributor in 2024.

Andrew Malua (Karaka)
A ball-playing first-five that has come through the grades with the champion Karaka U21s team. Malua looks a brilliant playmaking talent and got a taste of premier football last season. Destined for a much bigger role in 2024.

Alfred Nonu (Papakura)
A big midfield back that is returning from an ACL injury. Spent time with Auckland University and was in the Blues U20s. A player that has higher honours written all over him.

Brothers Antonio and Gibson Popoalii (Patumahoe)
The brothers are welcome additions to the Patumahoe back-line in 2024. Gibson is a midfield back while Antonio is more of an outside back. Both have the potential to make a big impact.

Anitema Pulu (Ardmore Marist)
An up-and-coming midfielder that has just arrived from Tonga. The 19-year-old is a powerful ball carrier and a strong defender and is going to turn some heads in 2024.

Henry Saker (Pukekohe)
Saker joins Pukekohe this season having been with Auckland club University as well as playing in the Auckland Development side. The halfback had a strong pre-season campaign with Pukekohe.
