Fan favourite Brody Perry has signed with the Franklin Bulls ahead of the 2024 Sal’s NBL season keeping the most famous mullet in the league in Pukekohe.

The Pukekohe High School product spent last season with the Bulls, getting limited opportunities off the bench but starred for the Pukekohe High School side at the NZ Secondary School nationals as well as for the Bulls at the 3×3 Cup.

“Brody has been with us since he was a kid,” said Bulls co-founder and long-time coach Jamie Reddish. “He was 10 years old when he started playing for Franklin Basketball. He’s been one of those players, alongside his teammates that has lead the way for our younger players.

“I am excited for Brody to continue to develop under coach Sebastian Gleim.”

He joins a list of talented youngsters at the Bulls this season that includes sharp-shooting guard Payton Hughes, New Zealand U17 representative Dante Matakatea and fellow Pukekohe High School star Noah Campbell, who have all put pen to paper.
