Papakura Athletic and Harrier Club have announced Paige Fletcher will be their 2024 Colgate Games captain/flag bearer.
The teenager has participated in every Colgate Games since 2018 when she was only eight years old.
Fletcher has won a staggering 10 individual gold medals across the past four years, including winning the 100m, 200m, shotput and discus all at the same games in 2020.
The 2024 Colgate Games will be Fletcher’s last.
The Colgate Games will take place January 5-7 at Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland.
