Counties Manukau Cricket’s Flynn McGregor-Sumpter made his Northern Brave debut on Thursday night against the Canterbury Kings at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

The Manukau City club player has been in scintillating form so far this season in all formats and earned a call-up to the Brave side that has been struggling in the Super Smash so far this season.

Unfortunately, he was unable to help the side turn that form around, dismissed for two as the Brave were set a mammoth target of 229 to win.

Fellow Counties Manukau player Katene Clarke scored 32 for the Brave.
