The Manukau Auckland Volleyball Association is hosting the annual Pasifika Volleyball Challenge at Pulman Arena this week.
Eight men’s teams and seven women’s teams will take part in the 19th edition of the tournament that had been scheduled to run in April this year but was postponed due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Games start at 7pm and 9pm each night with a full round robin before quarterfinals, semifinals and final on Saturday.
Men’s teams include the top ranked South Auckland Orcas, Ulmaiama Brothers, Acez, Rewa, Manukau South, Hustle, Never Give Up and Auckland All Stars.
The women’s grade contains Manukau South A, Auckland All Stars A, Samoana, Southern Tigers, Manukau South B, Manukau South U19 and the Auckland All Stars Wolves.
