The annual Karaka Million Twilight meeting at Ellerslie kicks opens the New Zealand Yearling Sale Series at the New Zealand Bloodstock Centre in Karaka.
The running of the $1 million DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka Million 2YO race over 1200m and the $1 million Karaka Million 3YO Classic (1600m), plus three blacktype events and the $100,000 CollinsonForex Karaka Cup (2200m) will feature on the race programme on Saturday January 23 at Ellerslie Racecourse.
The first of six races starts at 4.30pm with the final race starting at 7.45pm.
A big crowd is always on hand.
Book 1 of the Sale starts the following day at Karaka with Lots 1-200 going under the hammer. Book 2 and 3 will run on January 25th and 26th respectively.
