Howick Hornets will look to get back to winning ways as they take on fellow South Auckland side Mangere East Hawks in SAS Fox Memorial Premiership Qualifying action on Saturday.

The Hornets suffered their first loss of the season last week against Bay Roskill and will hope to get back on the horse when they go on the road against a Mangere East side that has yet to fulfil their potential this season.

The match kicks off at 2.30pm at Walter Massey Park.

The Otahuhu Leopards host the Te Atatu Roosters at Bert Henham Park while the Papakura Sea Eagles travel to Birkenhead Domain to play the Northcote Tigers in a battle between the bottom two sides.

The Otara Scorpions meet the Manukau Magpies in a clash between two competitive Fox Championship Qualifying teams at Ngati Otara Park.

The Pakuranga Jaguars head out west to play the Waitemata Sea Gulls at Ranui Domain.

The Papatoetoe Panthers host the Ellerslie Eagles/Mt Wellington combined side while the top-of-the-table Manurewa Marlins host the Hibiscus Coast Raiders.

In the Women’s Premiership Manurewa Marlins host the Pt Chevalier Pirates while the Pakuranga Jaguars are on the road to Richmond.

In Championship action Manurewa hosts fellow South Auckland club Otara, Tuakau Broncos host Glenora while Howick hosts Manukau in another all-South Auckland battle.
