Former Franklin Storm coach Jody Henry will coach the Papakura Sea Eagles for a first full season in this year’s Fox Memorial Auckland Rugby League competition.

Henry, who took over at the helm of Papakura mid-way through 2020, will guide the Sea Eagles as they look to bounce back from a disappointing couple of seasons.

Former Kiwi international Richie Blackmore will coach the Mangere East Hawks again. The 25-test Kiwi spent time with the Warriors, Castleford and Leeds during his playing days and has had Fox Memorial success before with Otahuhu Leopards as well as Papakura Sea Eagles.

Championship winning coach Shaun Clark will lead the 2019 champion Howick Hornets for another season while Tusa Lafaele will serve as the head coach of the Otahuhu Leopards in 2021.

Ben Phillips will be at the helm of the Manurewa Marlins in the Fox Memorial Championship as they look to earn promotion back to the top division in 2021.

Tamore Nati will lead neighbours Manukau Magpies while Louis Papali’i will mentor the Pakuranga Jaguars.

Saulo Suamasi is head coach of the Otara Scorpions but former Kiwis skipper and Warriors star Ruben Wiki has been helping train the side.

The Fox Memorial Premiership and Championship begin on April 10.
