Howick Pakuranga baseball star Kyle Glogoski has helped Australia secure their second win of the World Baseball Classic with a 12-2 win over China.

Glogoski picked up the win on the back of a solid start – giving up one hit and three walks over 2.2 innings of work, while striking out five.

The Cincinnati Reds minor leaguer has dual citizenship and has represented both Australia and New Zealand during his playing career.

He pitched for the Auckland Tuatara in each of their three seasons competing in the Australian Baseball League.

Australia has two wins from two in pool play of baseball’s version of the World Cup.
