Franklin Bulls forward Dan Fotu has been named in the Tall Blacks squad ahead of the FIBA World Cup in the Philippines in August.
Fotu is one of 21 players named by Tall Blacks coach Pero Cameron in an enlarged squad that will be used to prepare for the tournament.
Fotu has enjoyed an outstanding first season for the Bulls in the Sal’s NBL and was named R-Line Performance of the Week for his contribution against the Wellington Saints last weekend.
The Bulls face a tough two-game road trip against Southland and Otago this weekend.
