Robinhood Stars shooter Monica Falkner will miss Sunday’s Round 3 ANZ Premiership match with the Waikato-BOP Magic due to a knee injury.
Falkner injured her left knee during the Stars’ round one clash with the Pulse and missed last weekend’s game against Tactix.
The injury is to the same knee Falkner suffered a ruptured ACL to in 2019, therefore extra caution is being taken to allow her sufficient recovery time.
Falkner will be assessed on a week-to-week basis as she works towards a return to the court.
The undefeated Stars meet the Magic at 6.15pm this Sunday at Trustpower Arena in Tauranga, with live coverage on Sky Sport 3.
