The Howick Hornets face fellow South Auckland club the Otahuhu Leopards in a fascinating Fox Memorial qualifying match on Saturday.

The Mangere East Hawks, currently sitting comfortably inside the all-important top eight, tackle the winless Mt Albert Lions.

Traditionally one of the power houses of the competition, the Lions have endured a tough start to 2021 and the Hawks will be wary of awakening the sleeping giant.

The Papakura Sea Eagles picked up their first win of the season last weekend and will look to score successive victories when they travel to Jack Colvin Park to face bottom-of-the-table Te Atatu Roosters.

The Manurewa Marlins host the Northern Brothers at Mountfort Park in Championship qualifying action.

The Pakuranga Jaguars meet the Otara Scorpions in an all-South Auckland battle between two first round losers.
