Each week Counties Sports Hub will put together our CMCA form XI based on the Premier results through the season so far.

Rikesh Patel (Manukau City)
Patel was in the runs once again on the weekend, falling just one run shy of another century. With rep players away this weekend, the youngster did his part in stepping up for his club and helped them overcome their absence to secure a win.

Aryandeep Mann (Papakura) – NEW
Mann burst to life on Saturday scoring a superb unbeaten century to power Papakura to a Duthie Cup win. He made good on the glimpses of talent we’ve seen so far this season and cements himself as the wicketkeeper in our form team.

Sam Varcoe (Karaka) – NEW
Varcoe earns a re-call to our Form XI this week after his brilliant and belligerent century in the second innings helped Counties Manukau earn an outright win over Hamilton in the Fergus Hickey Rosebowl.

Sandeep Patel (Manukau City)
Patel continued his brilliant batting form of late by top scoring for Counties Manukau in the first innings against Hamilton. He has started 2022 in blistering form with the bat and continues to provide a useful bowling option for club Manukau City and the rep side.

Luke Williamson (Karaka)
Williamson had a reasonably quiet weekend in his return to Counties Manukau rep cricket but has been one of the stand out players in the club competition all season. His presence alone would have helped on the weekend.

Fraser Farrell (Pukekohe Metro)
Farrell didn’t have to do a lot with his Pukekohe Metro teammates doing most of the hard lifting in their win over Karaka. Farrell was still there are the end however and continues to look a genuine star of the competition.

Scott Johnston (Manukau City)
Johnston backed up his outstanding performance in the Inder Lynch T20 competition with another solid outing for Counties Manukau on the weekend. He grabbed three first innings wickets to go with two in the second for decent haul.

Louis Anderson (Manukau City) – NEW
Anderson has enjoyed a really strong season to date and jumps into the Form XI just ahead of club teammate James Naylor. Anderson took four wickets to help Manukau City earn a Duthie Cup win over the weekend.

Kurt Barnes (Pukekohe Metro)
Barnes picked up four crucial second innings wickets to help earn Counties Manukau an outright win in the Fergus Hickey Rosebowl over the weekend. He has been terrific all season.

Cameron Hardwick (Pukekohe Metro)
Hardwick didn’t do a lot in Counties Manukau’s win over Hamilton in what was a rare weekend without much fanfare. He has been a standout all season however and has plenty of credit in the bank to keep him in our Form XI.

Andrew Goodare (Southern Counties) – NEW
Goodare was back to his wicket-taking best as he did his part against Manukau City with a five-wicket haul. He edges out Southern Counties teammate Haydon Danford in our Form XI this week but the pair are quickly becoming a feature to watch out for.
