A pair of Counties Manukau players will captain the Northern Brave this week with White Ferns star Brooke Halliday making a welcome return to action.

Halliday, who had been stuck on the Auckland side of the COVID border through the opening part of the season, has linked up with the Brave and been named as captain of the women’s side to tackle the Auckland Hearts at Seddon Park on Friday.

Meanwhile former Black Cap and current Manukau City representative Jeet Raval will skipper the men’s Brave side as they face the Auckland Aces in the second match of the Seddon Park double header.

Fellow Counties Manukau player – Katene Clarke (Pukekohe Metro) is also in the squad.
