The Pythons from Pukekohe Netball Centre have made a perfect start to the Regional Premier League competition by beating the Karaka Diamonds 54-29 in their opening round fixture.
Manurewa Gold Rugby, who play out of the Papakura Netball Centre, scored a 54-42 win over Maramarua from Pukekohe Netball Centre while Southern Souls (Manurewa Netball Centre) beat Mellons Bay (Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre) 57-44 in the other first round Division 1 matches.
In Division 2 Conifer Grove Platinum (Papakura Netball Centre) beat Mangere Hawks (Mangere Otahuhu Netball Centre) 59-35 while Revelation Titans (Mangere Otahuhu Netball Centre) proved too strong for Manurewa Rugby Black (Papakura Netball Centre).
Tuakau had the opening round bye.
