Manukau City racer Shane van Gisbergen has won all three races at round two of the Supercars Championship in Tasmania over the weekend.

The Red Bull Ampol racer fought hard to come from fifth to win Saturday’s first sprint race before putting on a clinic on Sunday two dominate the two sprint races at Symmons Plains Raceway.

In addition the defending series champion claimed a pole position and scored the five-point bonus for posting the fastest lap in two of the three races.

Van Gisbergen takes a healthy 67-point lead over Anton de Pasquale in the title fight.

The championship moves to the Australian Grand Prix round in Melbourne in a fortnight.
