Pukekohe will host an international softball game this Sunday with the Philippines national side facing Franklin at Colin Lawrie Fields.
The game is a warm-up for the Philippines ahead of the World Championships in Auckland later this month.
It will begin at 2pm with free entry.
“This is an opportunity to see a softball team of the highest level, right here in Pukekohe,” a post on the association’s Facebook said.
“On the day we will be serving food, traditional Filipino and more and the bar will be open.
“This will be a great, family-friendly event – so don’t miss out!”
The Franklin team will be a combination of the best talent in the region.
