The Pukekohe Pythons men’s rugby league team has won the Ray Cranch Cup after beating Takahiwai: Northpine Warriors 25-24 in the final on Saturday.
The game was real nail-biter with Pukekohe coming out on top by a solitary field goal.
The Pakuranga Jaguars fell to the Northcote Tigers 32-28 in the grand final of the Crown Lift Trucks Fox Memorial Championship.
It was a good day for the Manurewa Marlins club, who took out the Women’s Premiership with a 16-6 win over Pt Chevalier while they also picked up the Women’s Championship thanks to a 34-18 victory over the Manukau Magpies.
