Papakura Warriors opening bowlers Vineet Mahajan and Pritam Singh destroyed Waiuku in a phenomenal display in Senior B action on Saturday.

The Papakura Warriors hammered Waiuku by 186 runs as they batted first and made 228 all out on the back of handy contributions from a number of batsmen.

Liam Sargent claimed four wickets for Waiuku.

Papakura opening bowlers Mahajan (5-23) and Singh (4-17) destroyed the Waiuku order however to bowl them out for a paltry 42.

It was Mahajan’s birthday to boot.

Pukekohe Metro cruised to a seven wicket win over Karaka after bowling their opponents out for just 111 in Pool 2 action.

Eknoor Singh took 5-24.

A top score of 62 from opener Ganesh Bhanot got Pukekohe Metro home.

The Weymouth Turtles crushed Manukau City Blue by 142 runs after posting an imposing total of 223 all out.

Balpreet Singh’s 4-24 helped roll Manukau for just 81.

Pohutukawa Coast claimed a four wicket win over the Papakura Dinosaurs in Senior B Pool 1 action.

Batting first Papakura made 189-8 before Pohutukawa Coast reached the target in the 38th over with Steve Deane (69) and Danny Raffaelli (53 not out) scoring half centuries.

Tuakau made 158 all out against Weymouth before bowling their opponents out for 117.

Manukau City Fearless X1 proved too strong for Karaka as they picked up a 40-run win to stay top of the table in Senior A Pool 1

Batting first Manukau City were bowled out for 156 with Randeep Gaur continuing his good run of form by top scoring on 40.

Ethan Waterman-Kira, Alaster Glass and Clayton Franks each picked up three wickets.

In reply Karaka manged only 116 all out. Aman Parhar was the pick of the Manukau City bowlers, claiming 3-15.

Manukau City Gryffindor cruised to an eight wicket win over Papakura Royal Kings.

Papakura managed to score 147 all out with Tirth Dave contributing 41 of them.

Manukau City reached the target in the 27th over for the loss of only two wickets – Satinder Singh Gill leading the way with an unbeaten 61.

Pukekohe Metro Gold secured a three-wicket win over Weymouth Mighty Kings. After bowling Weymouth out for 183 they successfully reached the target seven down with Navpreet Singh’s 77 leading the way.

In Pool 2 the Papakura Blues chased down Manukau City Warriors score of 187 with five wickets up their sleeves to remain unbeaten atop the standings.

Manpreet Singh Bains scored 83 off 47 batting at number nine to help Manukau City post a competitive total before Parminder Singh’s unbeaten 57 helped Papakura reach the target.

Pukekohe Metro Green grabbed a four-wicket win over Southern Counties.

Southern Counties were bowled out for 154 before Pukekohe Metro reached the target in the 30th over.

Weymouth Eastern Kings successfully defended their total of 256 all out as they secured a 46-run win over Papakura Heat.

Half centuries by Prabhjot Singh Manshahia and Lovedish Manhan got Weymouth to a strong total.

Bijin Paul claimed four wickets for Papakura.

Ranjith Raveendran (69) gave Papakura some hope but they ended up all out for 210.

Weymouth Hardly Athletic enjoyed a four wicket win over Clevedon in T20 Pool 1 action. Clevedon were bowled out for 83 with Baadshah Singh taking 3-14.

Weymouth reached the target in the 15th over with Singh unbeaten on 31.

The United Pirates claimed a 72-run win over Mauku after posting 135-4 batting first. They then bowled Mauku out for 63.

Glenbrook Maramarua scored their first win of the season in Pool 2 – winning by five wickets over Manukau City Red.

Manukau’s Dean Larking scored 54 to help post a total of 123 but Glenbrook Maramarua eased to the target in the 18th over for the loss of only two wickets thanks largely to 58 from opener Bruce Nicholls.

Karaka and United played out a remarkable tie in their clash with both teams closing their innings at 145-2 off the 20 overs.

Batting first, Karaka got runs from Paul Hedge (57 not out) and Cameron McRae (38).

Matt Forrest had United on track for the win with a superb 77 not out but the two sides both finish on 145 to split the points.

Pukekohe Metro Punjab Tigers crushed Weymouth Grumpy Old Men after bowling them out for just 20.

Pukekohe reached the target just four overs into their run chase.

The Tuakau Turkeys hammered Pukekohe Metro Fresh Connection by seven wickets.

Tuakau bowled Pukekohe out for 47 and then reached the total without losing a wicket.
