Mark Holt will remain the head coach of the Franklin United Men’s First Team side for 2023 after agreeing to a new deal.

Holt will return to the club for a fourth year at the helm of their flagship side.

“We are delighted to announce the re-signing of our Men’s coaching staff for 2023 with Mark Holt moving into his fourth season as First Team Head Coach,” a post on the club’s Facebook page said.

“Reaz Moorad continues as Assistant First Team Coach, and Men’s Goalkeeper Coach in his fourth season, along with club stalwart Tam Cramer continuing as the Men’s Under 23 Head Coach.

“We have two new managers with two former Tuakau AFC members Robert Hatton and Rahul Rattan coming onboard to fill in the big shoes left behind with Barbara Lindsay and Marc Lindsay stepping aside to focus on family commitments.

“Everyone at Franklin United would like to wish Barb and Marc all the best for 2023, their contribution at the club has been amazing and I am sure will continue to be over the years to come.

“We look forward to seeing you on the side lines supporting Franklin United when the time allows.”

In addition to the coaching appointments, Franklin United have also confirmed the return of three key players for the 2023 season.

Henry Fa’arodo, Stephen Ashby-Peckham and Tim Richardson have all recommitted to the club.
