Karaka Premier 2 skipper Clayton Franks has achieved a rare feat over the weekend when he took a double hat-trick while playing against Southern Districts at Karaka Sports Complex.

Franks’ heroics were the first double hat-trick in Karaka club history and more importantly, helped win a close game for his side.

His four wickets in four balls came with just 15 minutes left in the day’s play as Karaka were chasing an outright win.

Thanks to his magic, Franks’ side was able to pull off a memorable win that lifts them into a share of second place on the two-day table. He finished the day with 6-25 off his five overs as Karaka won by 160 runs.
