Counties Manukau Hockey has today made the decision to end their 2021 season due to COVID-19 and has informed clubs with confirmation.
A message was posted on the organisation’s Facebook page that confirmed there would be no re-start of the season even with only a couple of weeks left to play.
“We are sorry to announce the cancellation of our Senior Finals Weekend which brings our winter season to a close,” the post read.
“We would like to thank all our members for their patience while we waited for the Alert Level decisions.
“Our summer calendar will begin at Alert Level 2.”
