The EnviroNZ Franklin Bulls have recorded a crucial 92-65 win over the Taranaki Mountainairs in National Basketball League action on Thursday night in West Auckland.

The massive win for the Bulls snaps a two-game losing streak and ensures comes in their second-to-last game of the regular season.

It was the first ever win for the Bulls over the Airs, having previously lost their two other encounters this season.

Tall Blacks guard Everard Bartlett hit five triples and scored 18 points to lead the Bulls. Dom Kelman-Poto added 16 points while guard Isaac Davidson hit 17. Big man Sam Timmins collected 12 rebounds.

The win lifts the Bulls into third on the ladder with one final regular season game to play, which sees the expansion side face the Canterbury Rams on Saturday.
