The EnviroNZ Franklin Bulls have slumped to a 119-85 loss to the Nelson Giants in their penultimate SalsNBL game of the 2021 season.

Fresh off a stunning comeback win over the Airs last weekend the Bulls were looking to finish their campaign on a high but the fell behind early and never got into the contest.

Isaac Davidson led the Bulls in scoring – adding 24 points on 118-18 shooting – while Denhym Brooke continued his breakout season by filling the stat sheet again. Brooke ended the game with 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three blocks.

The Bulls distance shooting didn’t work as well – going just 5-23 from beyond the arc.

They head back to Pukekohe a final game of the season against the competition-leading Wellington Saints next Friday night.
