Six Counties Manukau players have been named to take part in a Northern Districts A one-day match against a New Zealand Development side at St Pauls Collegiate on Friday.
Northern Districts selectors have named two different sides to play in one-day matches on Thursday and Friday this week, with the Counties Manukau contingent to play on Friday.
Counties Manukau skipper Sam Varcoe, Pukekohe Metro’s Leon Marconi and Manukau City players Scott Johnston, James Naylor, Sandeep Patel and Rikesh Patel have all been given an opportunity.
All six players have enjoyed terrific club seasons this far.
