Rain washed out all cricket in Counties Manukau over the weekend with many venues completely under water from the flooding that has hit the Auckland region.

In W.H Taylor Shield action, Karaka was set to play Manukau City, Papakura were to meet Southern Counties and Weymouth had been set to square off but all matches were scrapped with points shared.

With two rounds remaining, Pukekohe Metro top the standings with 40 competition points and would all but secure the title if they were to beat second placed Manukau City (32 points) this weekend at Bledisloe Park.

It is basically a two-horse between the two clubs now with Karaka back in third place on 20 points, now out of the running.
