All three local sides enjoyed wins over the weekend in LOTTO NRFL Women’s Championship action.

A Sophie Stevenson double and a goal to Robyn Fisher ensured Onehunga Sports stayed top of the table with a 3-0 over Central United.

Franklin United racked up six goals (Jacqueline David and Sarah Carpenter scoring doubles with Nikita Lieshout and Rebecca Blyth also adding goals) as they thrashed Te Atatu AFC 6-0.

Manukau United beat Tauranga City 2-0 thanks to a pair of goals from Ashley Porter.

Onehunga Mangere United edged Beachlands Maraetai 1-0 in their Women’s Conference clash.

Both South Auckland sides in the Northern League went down over the weekend. Manukau United lost 4-3 to West Coast Rangers while Manurewa AFC lost 2-0 to Auckland United.

A Scott Lewis strike in the 57th minute earned Onehunga Mangere United a 1-1 draw with Northern Rovers in the LOTTO NRFL Men’s Championship.

Beachlands Maraetai lsot 4-2 to Bucklands Beach AFC in NRFL Men’s Northern Conference play.

The result means the latter jumps the former into first place.

Papakura City played out a 6-6 draw with Te Atatu MCL in Men’s League One play.

Papatoetoe AFC rode goals from Stephen McCoskrie and Akshay Shandil to a 2-1 win over Ranui Swanson while South Auckland Rangers grabbed a 2-0 win over Uni-Mount Bohemian.

Pukekohe AFC enjoyed a 7-0 thrashing of East Coast Bays in Men’s Division 4 action.

It was the first win of the season for the side and lifts them off the bottom of the ladder.

In Division 5, Onehunga Mangere United and Drury United drew 1-1.
