Each week Counties Sports Hub will put together our CMCA form XI based on the Premier results through the season so far.

Rikesh Patel (Manukau City)
Patel was in the runs yet again on Saturday but he also collected four wickets with his off-spin bowling to further cement his spot in this team. Patel has been the stand-out player of the competition through the pre-Christmas rounds.

Sam Varcoe (Karaka) – NEW
The Counties Manukau captain forces his way into our Form XI on the back of scoring 84 against Southern Counties on Saturday. While he missed out in week one, Varcoe scored runs in Karaka’s T20 matches a fortnight ago and looks set continue his run of form from last summer.

Sandeep Patel (Manukau City)
Sandeep Patel picked up some more runs in a winning cause to go with scores in the previous weeks while he also chimed in with two wickets as well. The representative star has made a solid start the new season.

Luke Williamson (Karaka)
Williamson was at it again for Karaka on Saturday as he scored a half century with the bat to back up his unbeaten half century from week one. He also took three wickets in an economic spell and led his side to a second successive Duthie Cup win.

Fraser Farrell (Pukekohe Metro)
For the second week running, the teenager came up with the key inning and another score in their win over Weymouth. Back-to-back half centuries and a strong showing at the Inder Lynch T20 competition season opener has shown this kid is here to stay in Premier cricket.

Aryandeep Mann (Papakura) – NEW
The talented teenager top scored for Papakura in their loss to Manukau City, scoring 43 and looking confident against the strong Manukau City attack. It was his first significant score in Premier cricket and the inning was enough to sneak him into our Form XI side ahead of Weymouth’s Manpreet Singh as wicketkeeper.

Scott Johnston (Manukau City)
Johnston holds his place in our Form XI after picking up a wicket against Southern Counties. The paceman is arguably the fastest bowler in the region and backed up his six-wicket haul in the Duthie Cup opener with another solid showing.

Michael Schofield (Karaka)
Schofield keeps his place in the Form Xi on the back of taking 1-28 off eight overs against Southern Counties. The haul of wickets might not have matched his previous couple of weeks but the experienced seamer continues to play a key role for Karaka.

Kurt Barnes (Pukekohe Metro)
Barnes was exceptional as he tore through the Weymouth line-up with 6-22 to help Pukekohe to successive wins. He missed out after being promoted to open with the bat but was at his accurate best with the ball.

Cameron Hardwick (Pukekohe Metro)
Hardwick holds his spot in the Form XI just ahead of Karaka’s Mannu Sachdev (four wicket haul against Southern Counties) after an economic 0-26 off his 10 overs. The Pukekohe Metro skipper combined well with Barnes once again to stifle the Weymouth order.

Andrew Goodare (Southern Counties)
Goodare found himself in the wickets again as Southern Counties went down to Karaka in their week two clash. He didn’t have as much success with the new ball against a quality Karaka top order but came back strong to add to his wickets tally in the second spell.
