South Auckland clubs head into the final round of the SAS Fox Memorial Premiership qualifiers jockeying for position but positions set.

The Howick Hornets, Mangere East Hawks and Otahuhu Leopards will all participate in the SAS Fox Memorial Premiership starting next week while the Papakura Sea Eagles will be in the Fox Championship.

The Hornets round off their qualifying round with a clash against the top-of-the-table Pt Chevalier Pirates at Paparoa Park.

The Hawks travel to Murray Halberg Park to tackle the Marist Saints while the Leopards face the Bay Roskill Vikings at home.

Papakura completes their first round with a daunting trip out west to play second-placed Glenora Bears.

The Pakuranga Jaguars need to avoid a big loss to Manukau Magpies to ensure they hold on to fourth spot in the Championship qualifiers and progress to the Fox Championship next week.

Manurewa Marlins meanwhile need a big win over the bottom-placed Papatoetoe Panthers to pip the Jaguars for the final spot.

Otara Scorpions are already assured of a spot in the next round but face the unbeaten Hibiscus Coast Raiders in the final round of qualifying.

The Pakuranga Women travel to Pt Chevalier hoping for their first win of the Women’s Premiership season against one of the leading sides.

Manurewa hosts Ponsonby in the other match featuring local teams.

In the Women’s Championship Otara hosts Manukau in an all-South Auckland battle at Ngati Otara Park while the winless Tuakau Broncos take on the impressive Taniwharau side at Opaheke Domain.

Howick travels to Marist while Manurewa visits Glenora.
